How do I authenticate with the MCP?→

The Humaans MCP uses OAuth 2.0 with with dynamic client registration for authentication. Your AI client opens a browser window where you sign in with your Humaans account and approve the scopes you want to grant. No API keys, no shared secrets.

Which data can my AI access?→

Only the data you're authorised to see in Humaans. The MCP reuses your existing roles and permissions — an Admin connecting will see more than an Employee, exactly as in the app. At connection time you also choose the data scopes explicitly.

Does it work with any AI client?→

Any client that supports the Model Context Protocol, including Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT (on supported plans), Codex, Copilot Studio, and a growing list of agent frameworks.

How is the MCP priced?→

The Humaans MCP is included at no extra cost for all customers. You only pay for your Humaans subscription — usage of the MCP itself is unlimited within fair-use rate limits.

Is my data safe?→

Every request through the MCP respects your existing roles and permissions — you can only access data you're authorised to see. When connecting, you choose exactly which data the AI can view or update. All data is encrypted in transit.
